THE STARTING POINT OF EVERY QURAN JOURNEY

Your child cannot read a single Arabic letter. Or perhaps you are an adult who never had the chance to learn. Either way, this is where every Quran journey begins — not with the Quran itself, but with the Noorani Qaida (also known as Qaida Noorania). The same foundational book that has taught millions of Muslims how to recognise Arabic letters, pronounce them from the correct Makharij (articulation points), and connect them into words for the very first time. IqraExpert offers the best Noorani Qaida online classes in India — live, one-on-one, with certified Darul Uloom scholars who teach in Urdu, Hindi, or English. Whether you are looking for online Quran classes for kids in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Lucknow, or any city in India — we assign your child a dedicated scholar who guides them through every letter, every harakat, every sound — until they can open the Quran and read it on their own. Book your free trial class today — zero commitment, zero risk.

UNDERSTANDING THE FOUNDATION

What Is Noorani Qaida and Why Does Your Child Need It?

Noorani Qaida is a foundational primer — a short, structured book originally compiled by Sheikh Noor Muhammad Haqqani — that teaches non-Arabic speakers how to read the Quran from absolute zero. Also referred to as Qaida Noorania in Arabic-speaking countries, it is the universal starting point for anyone who wants to learn Quran for beginners. It does not assume your child knows a single Arabic letter. It starts from the alphabet itself and builds upward, lesson by lesson, until the student can read full Quranic verses with correct pronunciation and basic Tajweed rules applied.

Think of it this way. You would never hand a child a novel before teaching them the alphabet. The Noorani Qaida is the alphabet stage of Quran education. It is the difference between a child who guesses at Arabic words and a child who reads them. It is the difference between a recitation full of errors and a recitation that is correct from the very first letter. Every Hafiz, every Qari, every Islamic scholar in history began exactly here — with these same letters, these same sounds, this same foundation.

The Noorani Qaida consists of 17 structured lessons that progress from individual Arabic letters to compound letters, then short vowels (Harakat), long vowels (Huroof Maddah), Tanween, Sukoon, Shaddah, Madd, and finally — reading complete Quranic verses. By the end, your child does not just recognise letters. They read. They pronounce. They are ready for the Quran. This is why Noorani Qaida online classes in India remain the most popular first step for every Muslim family.

DESIGNED FOR EVERYONE

Who Should Take This Course?

👶

Children Ages 4–7 Starting From Zero

Your child has never seen an Arabic letter before. They do not know Alif from Baa. This is exactly where we begin. Noorani Qaida for kids is designed with patience, repetition, colourful methods, and a pace that matches a child’s attention span. A 4-year-old and a 7-year-old learn differently — and our scholars are specially trained to handle both. This is the best way to start online Quran classes for kids.

🧒

Children Ages 8–14 Who Never Completed Qaida

Your child started Qaida at a mosque or madrasa but never finished. Maybe they moved. Maybe the class was too crowded. Maybe the teacher did not have time for individual attention. IqraExpert picks up exactly where they left off. Our scholar assesses their current level in the free trial class and starts from that precise point — no going backwards unnecessarily, no skipping ahead dangerously.

🕌

Adult Beginners and Reverts

You are an adult who never learned to read Arabic. Or you are a revert Muslim who accepted Islam and now wants to read the Quran in its original language. There is no embarrassment here. Our scholars teach adults with the same dignity and respect as they teach children. You will have your own private, one-on-one session where nobody else hears you, nobody judges you, and the scholar guides you at your own pace from the very first letter.

👨‍👩‍👧

Parents Who Want to Relearn

You learned Qaida years ago but forgot most of it. You can barely read Arabic now. You want to relearn — partly for yourself, partly so you can help your children. This course is your fresh start. Our scholars will quickly identify what you remember and what needs rebuilding, and design your sessions accordingly.

COURSE CURRICULUM

The Complete Noorani Qaida Curriculum — 17 Lessons, One Sacred Foundation

Every lesson builds on the one before it. Nothing is skipped. Nothing is rushed. Your child’s scholar will not move to the next lesson until the current one is mastered — because in Quran reading, one weak letter ruins every word it touches.

LESSON 1
Arabic Alphabet (Huroof-e-Mufridaat)

Your child learns all 29 Arabic letters in their individual forms. Each letter is taught with its correct sound and its exact articulation point (Makharij). This is the most important lesson of all — because if a child learns the wrong sound for a letter here, every word they ever read will carry that mistake.

LESSON 2
Compound Letters (Huroof-e-Murakkabaat)

Letters are now combined. Your child learns how Arabic letters change shape when they appear at the beginning, middle, or end of a word. They practise recognising the same letter in different positions.

LESSON 3
Abbreviated Letters (Huroof-e-Muqatta’at)

These are the mysterious letters that appear at the beginning of certain Surahs — Alif Lam Meem, Ya Seen, Ha Meem. Your child learns to recognise and pronounce them correctly.

LESSON 4
Short Vowels (Harakat — Fatha, Kasra, Damma)

Now the letters come alive. Your child learns the three short vowel marks — Fatha (zabar), Kasra (zer), and Damma (pesh) — and how each one changes the sound of a letter. This is where reading actually begins.

LESSON 5
Long Vowels (Huroof-e-Maddah)

Your child learns Alif Maddah, Yaa Maddah, and Waw Maddah — the three long vowel sounds that stretch the pronunciation. This is where the rhythm and beauty of Quranic recitation starts to appear.

LESSON 6
Tanween (Nunation — Double Vowel Marks)

Tanween adds a nasal “n” sound to the end of a word. Your child learns Fathatayn, Kasratayn, and Dammatayn — and practices hearing and producing the difference between a single vowel and a double vowel.

LESSON 7
Sukoon (Stopping on a Letter)

Your child learns what happens when a letter has no vowel — it stops. Sukoon is the mark that tells the reader to pronounce the letter without any vowel sound. This is the foundation of understanding how Arabic syllables work.

LESSON 8
Shaddah (Stress / Doubling)

When a letter carries Shaddah, it is pronounced twice — once with a stop and once with a vowel. Your child learns to feel the weight of the doubled letter in their mouth and produce it correctly. Getting Shaddah wrong is one of the most common Tajweed mistakes among beginners.

LESSON 9
Madd (Elongation / Stretching)

Madd rules teach your child when to stretch a vowel sound and for how long. Natural Madd, Connected Madd, Separated Madd — these rules give Quran recitation its distinctive flowing rhythm. Without Madd, recitation sounds choppy and mechanical.

LESSON 10
Leen Letters (Soft Letters)

The letters Waw and Yaa when carrying Sukoon and preceded by Fatha produce a soft, gliding sound. Your child learns to recognise and produce these sounds smoothly.

LESSON 11
Noon Sakin and Tanween Rules

This is where basic Tajweed begins. Your child learns Izhaar, Idghaam, Iqlaab, and Ikhfa — the four rules that govern what happens when Noon Sakin or Tanween meets the letter after it. These rules are the heart of Tajweed.

LESSON 12
Meem Sakin Rules

Similar to Noon Sakin, but for the letter Meem. Your child learns Idghaam Shafawi, Ikhfa Shafawi, and Izhaar Shafawi — three rules that govern how Meem sounds when it stops before another letter.

LESSON 13
Qalqalah (Echoing Letters)

Five specific letters — Qaaf, Taa, Baa, Jeem, Daal — produce a bouncing echo when they carry Sukoon. Your child learns to produce this distinctive Qalqalah sound correctly, which adds clarity and beauty to recitation.

LESSON 14
Waqf (Stopping Rules)

Your child learns the symbols that tell a reader where to stop, where to continue, where it is forbidden to stop, and where stopping is preferred. Without Waqf rules, a reader can accidentally change the meaning of a verse by stopping in the wrong place.

LESSON 15
Connecting Letters Into Words

Everything comes together. Your child now reads full Arabic words by connecting individual letters with their vowel marks, applying Sukoon, Shaddah, and Madd rules.

LESSON 16
Reading Short Quranic Phrases

Your child reads real Quranic phrases and short ayaat, applying every rule learned from Lessons 1–15. This is the bridge between Qaida and Quran.

LESSON 17
Reading Complete Quranic Verses

The final lesson. Your child reads complete verses from the Quran — with correct pronunciation, correct Tajweed, and correct stopping — under the live supervision of their certified scholar. This is the moment every parent has been waiting for. Your child is reading the Quran.

OUR APPROACH

How IqraExpert Teaches Noorani Qaida Differently

01
🎯

Live One-on-One, Not Group Classes

Every class is a private, live video session between your child and their assigned scholar. No group of 15 kids where your child sits silently for 25 minutes and reads for 5. Every minute of every session is your child’s. The scholar hears every letter your child produces and corrects it immediately.

02
🎓

Certified Darul Uloom Scholars, Not Freelance Tutors

Every IqraExpert teacher holds a Dars-e-Nizami degree from a recognised Darul Uloom institution and a verified Ijazah — an unbroken chain of Quran transmission authority connecting them to the Prophet ﷺ. We do not hire freelance tutors who “know some Arabic.”

03
🌍

Taught in Urdu, Hindi, or English

Your child learns in the language they understand. Most Indian Muslim families choose Urdu-medium instruction because it is the natural language of Quranic education on the subcontinent. Our scholars explain every concept in your child’s native tongue.

04

No Student Moves Forward Until the Lesson Is Mastered

We do not follow a fixed calendar. We follow your child’s mastery. If Lesson 4 takes two weeks instead of one, your child stays on Lesson 4 until every Harakat is perfect. Rushing through Qaida is the single biggest reason children develop permanent pronunciation mistakes.

05
📊

Monthly Progress Reports for Parents

Every month, your child’s scholar sends you a written progress report — what lessons have been completed, which sounds are strong, which sounds need more work, and the estimated timeline to completion. You are never in the dark about your child’s progress.

06
🕐

Flexible Scheduling Around School

Morning slots before school. Evening slots after homework. Weekend sessions. Ramadan special timings. You choose the schedule that works for your family, and the scholar shows up — consistently, reliably, on time.

TIMELINE

How Long Does Noorani Qaida Take to Complete?

Most students complete the Noorani Qaida in 3 to 6 months when attending 3–5 classes per week. However, the actual duration depends entirely on the student’s age, learning pace, and consistency.

👶 Ages 4–6

4 to 6 months is typical. Young children need shorter sessions (15–20 minutes) and more repetition. Our scholars never rush a young child — patience is the method.

🧒 Ages 7–14

3 to 5 months with regular attendance. Older children absorb faster and can handle full 30-minute sessions from the start.

🧑 Adults

2 to 4 months. Adult learners are often the fastest because they are motivated and can practise independently between classes.

We do not set a fixed deadline. Your child finishes when every lesson is mastered — not when a calendar says so. Rushing through Noorani Qaida is the single biggest reason students develop permanent pronunciation mistakes.

What Parents Should Know Before Choosing an Online Qaida Teacher

01
⚠️

Red Flag: No Ijazah or Formal Qualification

Many online tutors advertise Qaida classes but have no formal Islamic education. If a teacher cannot show you a Dars-e-Nizami degree or an Ijazah, they are not qualified to teach your child Quran. At IqraExpert, every scholar’s credentials are verified before they teach a single student.

02
👂

Red Flag: Group Classes Sold as “Personalised”

Some platforms call a group Zoom call with 10 children a “personalised class.” It is not. If your child is not the only student on the screen for the entire session, they are not getting true one-on-one instruction. IqraExpert classes are strictly one student, one scholar, one screen.

03
📝

Green Flag: Transparent Pricing and No Lock-ins

A trustworthy Qaida provider tells you the exact fee upfront — no “contact us for pricing” games. IqraExpert charges ₹2,000/month with zero registration fee, zero hidden charges, and you can cancel anytime. Month-to-month, paid via UPI.

PARENT REVIEWS

What Parents Say About Our Noorani Qaida Classes

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“My 5-year-old daughter could not recognise a single Arabic letter when we started. Four months later, she is reading short Quranic verses on her own. The scholar was incredibly patient — she never once made my daughter feel pressured. I wish I had found IqraExpert sooner instead of wasting time with YouTube videos.”

👩 Fatima S. — Mother of a 5-year-old, Mumbai
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“I am a 38-year-old revert. I was terrified of starting because I thought I would be judged for not knowing the basics at my age. My scholar made me feel completely comfortable from the very first class. I finished Noorani Qaida in 3 months and I am now reading the Quran with Tajweed. This was the best decision I ever made.”

👨 Ahmed R. — Adult learner & revert, Delhi
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“My son was attending a local mosque class for over a year and still could not read properly. The group was too large and the teacher had no time for him individually. After switching to IqraExpert, he completed Qaida in 4 months with perfect pronunciation. The monthly progress reports kept me informed every step of the way.”

PARENT QUESTIONS

Questions Every Parent Asks Before Enrolling

My child is only 4 years old. Is that too young to start?
Not at all. Age 4 is an ideal time to begin Noorani Qaida. At this age, children absorb sounds and letter shapes naturally. Our scholars who teach young children use a combination of visual aids, repetition, praise, and very short exercise bursts to keep a 4-year-old engaged. The sessions are gentle, never pressured. If your child needs a slower pace, the scholar adjusts automatically.
My child tried learning at a local mosque but got lost in the group.
This is the most common reason parents come to IqraExpert. In a mosque class with 15–20 children, your child might get 2–3 minutes of individual attention per session. At IqraExpert, every minute of the 30-minute session belongs to your child alone. The scholar hears every sound, corrects every mistake, and does not move forward until your child is ready.
I am an adult beginner. Will I feel embarrassed?
Never. Your class is completely private — just you and your scholar on a video call. No other students. No judgement. Many of our adult students told us they were nervous before the first class and completely comfortable by the end of it. Learning the Quran at any age is a noble act, and our scholars treat every adult learner with full respect and encouragement.
How is this different from a Noorani Qaida app or YouTube video?
An app cannot hear your child. A YouTube video cannot tell your child they are mispronouncing the letter ع as أ. Only a live, certified scholar listening in real time can catch pronunciation errors and correct them immediately. Noorani Qaida is fundamentally an oral skill — it must be learned from a human voice, not a screen. The app can supplement. It can never replace a scholar.
What if my child does not like the assigned teacher?
We replace the teacher immediately at no cost. Comfort between your child and their scholar is non-negotiable. If the match is not right, we find a better one. Your child should look forward to their Quran class, not dread it.
Do you provide the Noorani Qaida book?
Yes. We provide a free Noorani Qaida PDF (coloured digital copy) to every enrolled student at no additional cost. The PDF works perfectly for online classes — your child and their scholar view the same page on screen simultaneously. If you prefer a physical book, we can recommend where to purchase one, but most families find the digital Noorani Qaida PDF is all they need.

🏆 The IqraExpert Noorani Qaida Promise

Your child will not just memorise shapes. They will learn the correct sound of every letter from its exact articulation point. They will learn it from a certified scholar, not a tutor, not an app, not a video. And they will learn it at their own pace, in their own language, in the safety of their own home. When they finish, they will open the Quran — and they will read. That is not a marketing promise. That is what the Noorani Qaida was built to do. And that is what our scholars deliver, one child at a time.
