Translation: “O Allah, I intend to perform Umrah, so make it easy for me and accept it from me.”

- Miqat boundaries: Different for each direction (Dhul Hulayfah for Madinah, Juhfah for Syria, etc.)
- Hanafi: Intention can be made in the heart, verbal expression is recommended
- Shafi’i/Hanbali: Verbal intention is more emphasized
- Women: Can wear any modest clothing, no specific color requirement

- Recite Talbiyah loudly (men) or quietly (women)
- Continue until you start Tawaf
- Increase recitation during travel and after prayers

Translation: “Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise, blessings and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.”

- Frequency: Should be recited frequently, especially after prayers and during travel
- Volume: Men recite loudly, women recite quietly to avoid attracting attention

Translation: “O Allah, increase this House in honor, reverence, respect and awe, and increase those who honor and respect it – those who perform Hajj or Umrah – in honor, respect, reverence and righteousness.”

- Entry etiquette: Enter with right foot, maintain humility and reverence
- First sight: Time for acceptance of duas, make personal supplications
- Crowds: Be patient, maintain Islamic etiquette even in crowded conditions
- Photography: Focus on worship rather than taking pictures

๐ Tawaf (7 Rounds Around Kaaba)

- Start at Hajar al-Aswad (Black Stone) – touch/kiss if possible, otherwise point and say “Bismillahi Allahu Akbar”
- Keep Kaaba on your left side
- Complete 7 rounds (circuits)
- Walk normally, don’t push others
- Men: Perform Raml (brisk walking) in first 3 rounds, normal walking in last 4
- Men: Keep right shoulder uncovered (Idtiba) throughout Tawaf
- Make duas throughout, no specific duas required
๐คฒ Dua at Hajar al-Aswad:

Transliteration: Bismillahi Allahu Akbar
Translation: “In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest.”

Translation: “Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the next world, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.”

- Wheelchair users: Can be pushed or use wheelchair, same rules apply

- Pray 2 Rakah behind it (if possible due to crowds)
- If too crowded, pray anywhere in the Haram
- Recite Surah Al-Kafirun in 1st Rakah, Surah Al-Ikhlas in 2nd Rakah (recommended)
- Make dua after the prayer

- Location: Behind Maqam Ibrahim is preferred, but anywhere in Haram is acceptable
- Timing: Immediately after Tawaf is recommended
- Surahs: Al-Kafirun and Al-Ikhlas are recommended but not obligatory
- Crowds: If too crowded, pray in any available space in the Haram
- Jamaah prayer: If congregational prayer starts, join it and this counts as your 2 Rakah

- Go to Mount Safa and climb up facing the Kaaba
- Recite the prescribed duas
- Walk towards Marwah (1st lap)
- Men: Run between the green lights, women walk normally
- At Marwah, face Kaaba and make dua
- Return to Safa (2nd lap) and repeat
- Complete 7 laps total (Safa to Marwah = 1 lap)
- End at Marwah on the 7th lap

Translation: “Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs Umrah – there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good – then indeed, Allah is appreciative and knowing.”

Transliteration: La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulku wa lahu’l-hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer, la ilaha illa Allah wahdahu, anjaza wa’dah, wa nasara ‘abdah, wa hazama’l-ahzaba wahdah
Translation: “There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and praise, and He is able to do all things. There is no god but Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, supported His slave, and defeated the confederates alone.”

- Counting laps: Safa to Marwah = 1 lap, Marwah to Safa = 2nd lap, etc.
- Running (men only): Run between green lights, walk normally elsewhere
- Duas: Recite prescribed duas at Safa/Marwah, make personal duas during walking
- Purity: Wudu is recommended but not required for Sa’i
- Wheelchair users: Can be pushed, same rules apply

- Men: Choose between Halq (complete shaving) or Taqsir (trimming)
- Women: Only Taqsir (trim about fingertip length from all hair)
- Halq is more rewarding for men
- Go to designated barber areas in Haram or nearby
- After hair cutting, Umrah is complete
- All Ihram restrictions are now lifted

Transliteration: Allahumma taqabbal minni ‘umrati waghfir li dhanbi wa a’inni ‘ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ‘ibadatik
Translation: “O Allah, accept my Umrah from me, forgive my sins, and help me in Your remembrance, gratitude, and excellent worship.”

- Men’s options: Halq (complete shaving) is more rewarding than Taqsir (trimming)
- Women’s requirement: Only Taqsir, trim about fingertip length from all hair
- Minimum for Taqsir: Must cut from all parts of the head, not just one area
- Location: Can be done in Haram or outside, many barbers available nearby
- Completion: Umrah is complete after hair cutting, all restrictions lifted
- Reward: Prophet (PBUH) made dua 3 times for those who shave, once for those who trim
