IqraExpert is an online Quran and Islamic studies academy based in Parbhani, Maharashtra, India. We assign every student a certified scholar — a real Ustad or Alima who knows their name, remembers their last mistake, and will not rest until they recite it correctly. That is the difference.
Where IqraExpert Came From
In Parbhani, Maharashtra — a city in the Marathwada region with a significant Muslim population — Mufti Mohammed Salim Qasmi watched families around him struggle with the same problem every year. Parents wanted their children to learn the Quran. They wanted a qualified teacher. They wanted the recitation to be correct. And they could not reliably find all three together in one place.
Local Madrasas and Maktabs taught in groups of 15 to 20 students. Every child got perhaps 3 minutes of individual attention per class. Mistakes accumulated. A child could recite Surah Al-Fatiha incorrectly for five years, and no one corrected them — not because the teacher did not care, but because there was no time.
Working mothers could not attend fixed timings. Families in smaller cities had no Hafiz nearby. Adults who wanted to learn Tajweed were too embarrassed to sit in a children’s class. New Muslims had nowhere to begin at all.
Mufti Salim Qasmi founded IqraExpert in 2020 with a single conviction: every Muslim who wants to learn the Quran correctly deserves a qualified scholar who listens to them individually, corrects them in real time, and stays with them until they get it right. Not an app. Not a recorded video. Not a group of strangers. A scholar. One on one. Every session.

Our Mission
Every student at IqraExpert recites the Quran the way it was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ — correctly pronounced, properly observed, and understood with the heart.
That is the mission. Not a category of mission, not a direction — a testable outcome. When a student finishes the Noorani Qaida at IqraExpert, they can read Arabic. When they finish Tajweed, their recitation meets the standard of Ijazah. When they finish Hifz, they have memorised the Quran with correct Tajweed from the first Juz to the last.
We measure every class against this standard. If a student is not moving toward it, we change the approach — not the standard.
To assign every Muslim student a certified scholar who teaches them Quran one-on-one, corrects their recitation in real time, and stays with them from the first Arabic letter to complete Khatm-ul-Quran — regardless of their age, city, or starting level.
A world where no Muslim child grows up mispronouncing the Quran because their family could not find a qualified teacher. Where Tajweed is not a luxury for the few but the standard for every recitation. Where an Alima is available to every sister who wants to learn.
What We Actually Do
IqraExpert teaches Quran and Islamic studies through live, one-on-one classes. No group batches. No pre-recorded videos. No apps that cannot hear you mispronounce a letter. A scholar, a student, a video call — and a Mushaf between them.
Arabic letter recognition, Harakat, joining rules, and foundational Quran reading — for children from age 4 and adults starting from scratch. The first step every student takes before the Quran.
All rules from Makharij al-Huruf to Madd, Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, Qalqalah, Waqf and Ibtida. Taught with live pronunciation correction — the only way Tajweed can be properly learned.
Reading the Holy Quran from Juz Amma to Khatm-ul-Quran with correct pronunciation and fluency. The Ustad listens to every Ayah and corrects every mistake — Juz by Juz, page by page.
Structured Quran memorisation using the Sabaq, Sabqi, and Manzil system with daily accountability and revision. For children and adults who want to become Hafiz or Hafiza.
Aqeedah, Fiqh, Seerah, Tafseer, daily Duas and Adhkar — all taught from authentic sources by qualified Aalims and Alimahs. For children who need a Deen foundation, and adults who want depth.
Every course available with certified female Alimahs only. Pardah-friendly, camera-optional, fully private. Led by Dr. Alima Faiza Salim, our Head of Sisters Programme and Fiqh-un-Nisa specialist.

You are not looking for the fastest Khatm. You want your child to recite the Quran the way the Prophet ﷺ recited it. You understand that correct Tajweed takes time and you respect that process.
You want a certificate in 30 days
There are platforms that will give your child a Quran certificate in a month. We are not one of them. Learning Tajweed correctly takes months. Hifz takes years. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not teaching Tajweed.
You need a female teacher for sisters
You observe Pardah and will not accept a male teacher for yourself or your daughter. IqraExpert’s Sisters programme was built for this — not as an afterthought, but as a core part of what we do.
You want the cheapest price available
We charge a fair fee for a qualified scholar’s live one-on-one time. If you are comparing us to a ₹500/month app that plays recordings, we are not competing with that. Recordings cannot hear your child recite.
The Scholars Behind Every Session
IqraExpert has 35+ certified Aalims, Alimahs, Qaris, and Huffaz on faculty. Every one of them holds either a Dars-e-Nizami degree from a recognised Darul Uloom institution or a verified Ijazah in their subject. Most hold both.
They come from Darul Uloom Deoband, Jamia Islamia, and other recognised Islamic institutions across India. They are background-checked before joining and reviewed by Mufti Salim Qasmi’s academic team before their first class.
IqraExpert has 15+ certified female Alimahs for Sisters Private Classes, led by Dr. Alima Faiza Salim — a Aalima with a doctorate in Islamic Studies and specialisation in Fiqh-un-Nisa. Sisters are never assigned a male teacher. Ever.
