💭

Why This Course Exists

Muslim women have specific Fiqh questions that men do not have — about Haiz (menstruation), Nifas (post-natal bleeding), Salah during these periods, Ghusl rules, fasting exemptions and Qada, dress code obligations, marriage rights, mahr, custody, inheritance — and dozens of daily Masail that affect a woman’s worship every single month of her life.

Many sisters never get clear answers to these questions. They feel uncomfortable asking in mixed settings. They cannot bring up Haiz-related rulings to a male teacher. They search online and find conflicting answers from unqualified speakers. They make assumptions — and silently worry that their Salah, Wudu, or fasting may not be correct.

This course was built to end that silence. Every class at IqraExpert’s Islamic Studies for Sisters is taught exclusively by qualified female Alimahs — graduates of recognised Islamic institutions, trained in Hanafi Fiqh-un-Nisa, and experienced in teaching other women. Every class is private. Every camera is optional. Every question is welcome. The atmosphere is that of an elder sister explaining the Deen to a younger sister — never lecture, never judgement.

طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” — Sunan Ibn Majah 224

The narration uses “Muslim” — which in Arabic includes both men and women. This obligation is on you, sister, just as it is on your brother.

The Problems Sisters Face — And How We Solve Them

The Problem

“I cannot ask Haiz questions to a male teacher”

Most local Madrasas are run by male Aalims. Most online Quran academies have no certified female faculty. So sisters either ask uncomfortable questions in mixed settings, or never get answers at all.

Our Solution

15+ certified female Alimahs — every single class

Every Sisters class is taught by a qualified Alima. Dr. Alima Faiza Salim, our Head of Sisters Programme, holds a doctorate in Islamic Studies and a specialisation in Fiqh-un-Nisa. Ask anything.

The Problem

“I cannot have my face on camera”

You observe Pardah strictly. You cannot — and will not — turn on a camera for a class, especially when your Hijab is off in your own home. Most online platforms make camera mandatory.

Our Solution

Camera is optional — always

Audio-only is welcome. Voice + Mushaf screen-share is welcome. Camera off is welcome. Your Pardah is your decision — we never request you to compromise it for any class. Ever.

The Problem

“My family or work schedule does not allow fixed timings”

Children, household, in-laws, work — your schedule is not your own. Local Maktabs have fixed evening slots that you simply cannot attend.

Our Solution

Flexible scheduling around your life

Morning, afternoon when children are at school, evening, late night, weekend — pick what works. Your Alima accommodates your schedule, not the reverse. Reschedule when needed.

The Problem

“I do not know where to start”

You search online and get conflicting answers from random speakers. You buy books that you never finish. You feel lost — wanting to learn, but not knowing the first step.

Our Solution

A real teacher and a real plan

Your Alima assesses your current level in the trial class and builds a Sabaq plan around your goals. No more guessing. One qualified scholar — week after week — until you know what you set out to learn.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are absolutely all teachers female — without exception?
Yes. This course is taught exclusively by qualified female Alimahs. No male teacher will ever be assigned to a sister, regardless of subject or schedule. Camera is optional. Voice-only is welcome. The Pardah-friendly standard is the default for every sister at IqraExpert — not an option you have to request.
Can I ask sensitive Fiqh questions about Haiz, Nifas, intimate matters?
Absolutely — that is exactly what this course was built for. Our Alimahs are specifically trained in Fiqh-un-Nisa under Dr. Alima Faiza Salim’s supervision. They create a judgement-free environment where every question is welcomed and answered with proper Hanafi-Fiqh references from authentic Islamic sources. No question is too private or too “small.”
Do I need any prior Islamic knowledge to start?
No. The course begins from the basics and progresses based on your current level. Whether you are a new Muslim sister, a working professional who never had formal Islamic education, a busy mother, or a student wanting to deepen existing knowledge — your Alima will assess your level in the free trial class and start from the right point for you.
What about Madhab? Is this course Hanafi specific?
The Fiqh taught is from the Hanafi Madhab — the school followed by the majority of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Central Asian Muslims. This is the Madhab of Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) and the standard at Darul Uloom Deoband. Where there are significant differences with other Madhabs, your Alima will mention them. If you follow a different Madhab and want focused teaching from another, please mention it during enrolment.
Can I bring my daughters into the same class?
Yes. Many sisters enrol along with their daughters — it is one of the most beautiful ways to learn together. The course adapts to your family’s level and pace. You can also enrol a daughter in a separate dedicated children’s class with the same female teacher, if her age and level differ significantly. Family pricing is available — contact us on WhatsApp for a custom plan.
What if I miss classes due to Haiz, illness, or family emergencies?
Life happens — your Alima understands. Missed classes can be rescheduled within the same month, up to 3 times. Many sisters use this for Haiz days when they are not in the right state to study. Just inform your Alima or our team on WhatsApp in advance and a makeup session will be arranged.
Is the free trial class really free — no card required?
Yes. Completely free. No payment details required. No commitment. Your trial class is a real 40-minute session with a qualified Alima — she will assess your level, answer your first questions, and recommend a study plan. If you choose not to continue, you owe nothing and walk away with something you learned.
My English is weak. Can I learn in Urdu or Hindi?
Yes. We have Alimahs who teach in Urdu, Hindi, and English. Most Indian sisters learn in Urdu or Hindi — that is the standard at IqraExpert. Mention your preferred language during enrolment and we will assign the right Alima for you. Arabic terminology is taught alongside, with translation, throughout.
