A Promise From the Prophet ﷺ
طَلَبُ ٱلْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.”

Sunan Ibn Majah 224  ·  Narrated by Anas ibn Malik (RA)

The Prophet ﷺ used the word kulli Muslim — every Muslim. Not every man. Not every adult. Every Muslim, including every Muslim woman, has the right and responsibility to seek Islamic knowledge. Sisters Private Classes exists so that no Muslim sister is denied that right because qualified teaching was not available in a way that respected her Pardah.

😔

The Problems Muslim Women Face When Trying to Learn

Before we explain what we do, we want to name what we have heard from hundreds of sisters. If any of these sound like your situation — you are not alone, and you are in the right place.

🚫

No Female Teachers Nearby

Most local Madrasas and Maktabs have male teachers only. Finding a qualified Aalimah who teaches privately — especially in smaller cities and towns — is difficult and often impossible.

😣

Uncomfortable in Mixed Settings

Online group classes often have male teachers or mixed-gender audiences. Many sisters cannot unmute, ask questions, or learn freely in environments that do not honour their Pardah.

🤐

Sensitive Questions Stay Unasked

Questions about Haiz, Nifas, Istihaaza, Ghusl, marital Fiqh, and personal struggles are essential knowledge — but most women cannot ask a male teacher. So these questions remain unanswered for years.

No Time to Travel

Between household duties, raising children, and work, travelling to a Madrasa or halaqah is not practical. Many mothers sacrifice their own Deeni learning because there is simply no option.

😞

Lost Confidence After Years Away

Many women stopped reading Quran years ago and feel embarrassed to restart. The fear of being judged for their level prevents them from ever beginning again.

📱

Generic Online Courses

Most platforms offer pre-recorded videos or group webinars — not personalised live teaching with a real Aalimah who corrects your mistakes and answers your specific questions.

Sound familiar? You are not alone — thousands of sisters face the same barriers. IqraExpert was built to remove every one of them.

How IqraExpert Solves Every Single One of These

Each problem above has a deliberate solution in how the Sisters Private Classes programme is built. These are not features. They are core promises.

What Makes Our Female Teachers Different

Being female is not a qualification. Our Aalimahs are selected for the same scholarly credentials, training, and character we require from every IqraExpert teacher — held to identical standards.

🎓

Qualified — Not Just Female

Every Aalimah holds a degree from a recognised Islamic institution — Aalima degrees, Hafiza certifications, Ijazah with Sanad. The same scholarly qualifications as our male scholars.

💝

Experienced With Women’s Issues

Specialised in women’s Fiqh — Haiz, Nifas, Ghusl, marital matters. They teach these sensitive topics with clarity, empathy, and proper Shariah references — never embarrassed, never vague.

🤲

Patient & Empathetic

They understand many women come back to learning after years away. No rushing, no judgement — they celebrate every small improvement with you, and stay with you for the long journey.

🌍

Multilingual

Our Aalimahs teach in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Arabic — whichever language makes you most comfortable and ensures you truly understand every lesson, not just nod along.

💰

No Extra Charge

Female teachers cost the same as our standard pricing — from ₹2,999/month. We believe access to female Islamic educators is a right, not a premium feature to upsell.

🕐

Flexible for Your Life

After Fajr, during nap time, post-Maghrib, weekends — our Aalimahs adjust to your schedule. Timings can change as your routine changes. You set the rhythm.

Head of Sisters Programme  ·  Lead Female Islamic Scholar  ·  Fiqh-un-Nisa Specialist
Dr. Alima Faiza Salim leads IqraExpert’s Sisters Private Classes programme and oversees every Aalimah on faculty. A certified Aalima with a doctoral background in Islamic Studies and specialisation in Fiqh-un-Nisa — the branch of Islamic jurisprudence specific to women — she has been teaching Muslim women and girls for over a decade. Dr. Alima personally interviews every female teacher before they join the faculty, trains them in our teaching method, and reviews their work monthly. Her philosophy is simple: “Every Muslim woman deserves authentic Islamic education in a space that fully respects her privacy, her schedule, and her dignity — not as a favour, but as her right in Islam.”

Your first class is completely free. A certified Aalimah will spend it understanding where you are, what you most want to learn, and what comfort and privacy you need. No payment, no commitment, no pressure — just one private conversation that begins everything else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all teachers in the Sisters programme female?
Yes — without exception. Every teacher is a qualified female Aalimah, Hafiza, or Qaria. No male teachers are involved in any session — not in teaching, not in supervision, not in administrative scheduling. The Sisters Programme is overseen by Dr. Alima Faiza Salim, who personally vets every Aalimah on faculty.
Do I need to turn on my camera during classes?
No. Camera is completely optional — always. Many sisters learn audio-only and progress just as well. Quran reading, Tajweed, Arabic, and Islamic Studies all work perfectly without video. The Aalimah hears your recitation through audio — that is what she needs to correct your pronunciation. Your Pardah comes first.
Is there an extra charge for requesting a female teacher?
No. The same pricing applies — starting from ₹2,999/month. IqraExpert does not charge extra for assigning a female teacher because we do not believe access to a qualified female Islamic educator should be a premium. It is the default for sisters, included in standard pricing.
Can I ask about Haiz, Nifas, and sensitive women’s Fiqh?
Absolutely — this is one of the primary reasons the Sisters Programme exists. Our Aalimahs welcome every question about menstruation, post-natal bleeding, Istihaaza, Ghusl, marital intimacy, and all related Masail. They answer with proper Shariah evidence, real empathy, and complete confidentiality. Nothing is too personal to ask.
I have not read Quran in years — will I be judged?
Never. Many women in our programme restart after 5, 10, even 20 years away. Our Aalimahs start from wherever you are — even from Alif if needed — with patience, encouragement, and zero judgement. The Quran does not turn anyone away because of how long they have been gone. Neither do we.
I am a new Muslimah (revert) — is this right for me?
This programme is ideal for you. Our Aalimahs are experienced in guiding new Muslimahs through Shahada, Salah, Wudu, the Arabic alphabet, core beliefs, and daily practical questions — gently, at your pace. We also offer the New Muslim Starter Course as a structured 6-month foundation path.
What courses are available with female teachers?
All of them — Noorani Qaida, Quran Recitation, Tajweed Rules, Hifz, Quranic Arabic, Islamic Studies for Women, Quran Tafseer, Seerah, Ijazah Certification, and more. No course is excluded from the Sisters Programme. Same curriculum, same scholarly standards, taught by a sister.
What are the class timings for working women and mothers?
Morning (after Fajr), afternoon, evening (after Maghrib), and weekend slots — all available. We match you with an Aalimah who fits your schedule and your time zone. Timings can be adjusted as your routine changes — new baby, new job, school holidays. Just message us on WhatsApp and we reshuffle.
